·       Do I have to sign up for a yearly subscription?

o   No, you do not have to sign up for a yearly subscription.  You can pick and choose the month you would like Ed's PC Services to optimize your PC. However, if you plan on having us service your PC every month, the yearly subscription will provide you with a substantial savings.

 

·       Are all the PCs in my house covered by the Service?

o  The maintenance service is per PC, but we do have bundle packages.  Please refer to the Cost page for more information.

 

·       I have an old PC that isn't running.  Can I use your service?

o   The maintenance service is for PCs that are functional.  If your system either cannot boot or open into Windows that would require more expertise than the maintenance service provides.  If you are having those sort of issues with your PC contact us by email and we will discuss the subject further with you.

 

·       I bought a new computer to replace the one under contract with EPCS.  Do I have to get a new maintenance contract?

o   New computers which are purchased to replace a computer currently covered under a maintenance plan, that has unused maintenance visits remaining under it’s original plan, will automatically inherit the remaining maintenance visits for the computer it replaced provided the previously covered computer is no longer in use.

 

·       I wont be home when you come but my 16 year old will be there.  Is this okay?

o   An adult or individual above the age of 18 must be present at the scheduled time of service.  Ed's PC Services Specialists must receive full access to all computers and / or peripherals to be serviced; including but not limited to: access to residence, safe working environment, working space, electricity, and your full cooperation and consent.
